And away we go.......

So Ms3 is going camping! We are leaving in a few minutes to go camping for the next few days. We will be going to my absolute favorite campsite up at a mountain lake! Ms3 is bringing some of her friends with her too. THe green monster sweater is joining us and they are bringing a new friend Handy (a pair of fingerless gloves) I am very much looking forward to sitting by the lake sipping hot coco and knitting on all of these wonderful projects.

Ms3 is finally moving in the right direction again. We were not on speaking terms for about 4 days because she let go of a couple of stitches etc. But we have reconciled!

Progress of sorts

So as many people know, Jenny from TVSnB talked me into starting my very first lace project. And not only is it a lace project, but it is also the Mystery Stole Knit-a-long. It has actually helped to not make it so scarey as you only get the pattern a little bit at a time... I am very much behind many of the other knitters, but I am ok with this. It is not a race.. so here are a couple of pics of the progress so far. What is shown is all of clue one and a bit of clue two!



Today was Rus' counsin's baby shower.. Not only did I make the blanket that is shown in the previous post, but I also made a diaper cake for her! 180 diapers!! This is the biggest cake that I have made with 6 teirs in it. I am happy with how it came out. I really enjoy making these for people, I just wish that they were more ecomnomical to make. I also made two hats and two sets of booties besides getting a bunch of onsies and other baby stuff. There is only on green and blue bootie because i have run out of the cotton and I am having a lot of trouble finding more of it...

Well that is what I has been completed.
As for what I am working on.... I still am working on the varigated green shurg. It is taking along time due to it being knit from cuff to cuff. I also have a blanket and a prayer shawl on the needles!

I know I know...

So I already know that it has been two months since I have started this darn blog and this is only my second post.... I dont really have any readers so I am struggling to take the energy to write... I do want to share some projects that I have been working in the last two months...

First: Bamboo Scarf, just a simple scarf knit with two contrasting colors of 100% bamboo. This was a delight to work with and I wish that my yarn budget allowed me to work with it more oftern!







Second: Faith's baby blanket. This was just a simple quick knit, but I love the colors. There is a very subtle basketweaving.

So that is about it for all. I am hoping that soon I will be able to post pics of all of the othe baby knitting that I have done, and the Mystery Stole!
